Vaseline Men: Be The Man

Yes, I have blogged about another men grooming product before but as a blogger and also a consumer, it is best that we give ourselves options.

Grooming is an everyday routine where it can presumptively conclude on how our day will be for it is a big factor of the kind of confidence we will be having hence, we should be very cautious on choosing the right products.

I admit that I use different brands for every regimen, and as for this brand I can say that I am currently using their facial wash and glad to say that it's so far so good although I seem to have a skin reaction with their lotion and thus, I use the competitors' instead.

With the very pretty, Ms. Nikki Viola who opted to host the event.

It is very important for men to use products that are specifically designed for men because our skin is said to be oilier and our pores to be larger in that event, we really need to follow the needs to skincare.

To add more to your pogi points, Vaseline Men is holding up this contest that I'm sure will truly entice you! So join now!

Thank you so much for this really cute model of Toyota 86, at least I get to hold a mini-me of it. lol!

Sulit.com.ph: Ibenta Mo Na

I was invited last week at Bizu, Greenbelt 2 for the Media/Blogger Event of Sulit.com.ph and as an aspiring entrepreneur I automatically said yes.

Let me give you a few background about Sulit. It was almost seven years ago when Mr. David founded the company with a capital of 2,400php together with his girlfriend (now wife) Ms. Arianne. They built a free platform where Filipinos can post up a wide array of classified ads, from clothing and accessories, to tools and gadgets, furniture and appliances, to different services and more.

From its humble beginnings, Sulit.com.ph has evolved into a corporation called Netrepreneur Connections Enterprises, Inc. which now has nearing a hundred employees reporting to a plush two-floor office space in Ortigas.

Now, it has been noted that they are the top buy and sell website company in the Philippines with 2 million registered users and over millions of pageviews each day. Therefore, if you decided to sell something there, there will be a big chance that somebody will find it soon and purchase it immediately.

One of the habits of Filipinos is being sentimental and thus, making it a big predicament whenever we sort our things. Most of us linger onto different materials and ending it up sitting on our shelves and garages leaving so much space in our houses and disregarding the fact that it can still be of use. Sulit.com.ph encourages us to sell those that we don't need and is still usable, after all, One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Although my practice has been to put my stuff that are still beneficial to others into charity but nowadays, the idea of Sulit is more practical as it promotes the value of entrepreneurship therefore making you earn more money and the concept of convenient online shopping which has been a trend since 2010.

Attention!

As you all have known, I am very much fond of charities. Through the partnership with World Vision, Everyone is encouraged to donate their preloved items to sulit.com.ph to have them sold in the website. The total amount of sales will be matched and then donated for World Vision's Humanitarian Efforts.

Here I give you one of their TVC's.

Start sorting your things and start selling!

My thanks to Fuentes Manila for inviting me!

Catching Summer

I have this named Catching Summer because this was the last week I get to be a bum and so it was literally catching up my summer 2013.
By the way, this is what I wore during the TOMS Event and when we ate at Bulgogi Brothers.

As I have passed the Medical Technology Board Exam last month, I jumped into applying for jobs and just a few days i get to be called in for an interview and had passed my requirements (some) and now I just finished my first week as an employee of Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Yes, I will be busy again but don't worry, I'll try my best to update my blog every now and then because just as much I am passionate about science and caring for patients, I am just as passionate in doing my own craft, my own art and publishing my authentic voice to the public.

Oh and just in case you are wondering, I am working now as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist so you will not be able to see me in the laboratory but in the specialized department that I am very lucky to be into.

Gray Cap (Thrifted), Yellow Printed Shirt (Giordano), Yellow Belt (Giordano), White Watch (Tomato), White Shorts (Giordano), Blue Socks (Oxygen) and White Mid Cut Shoes (Topman).

Bulgogi Brothers

So after a hot walk under the sun at the TOMS' event we headed to Bulgogi Brothers for a very delicious Korean fix courtesy of Angel Rodriguez.

a very homey interior that really puts you up to the oriental appetite.

This is where they keep their password, see that yellow sticker?

To start up we had sweet potatoes and corn cobs.

Kimchi. This made me feel like I was back in Korea again.

This is kangkong, sauteed enough so it's still sort of crispy.

We all liked that first sauce on the left. I'm so sorry, I forgot what these are called.

Mussels! I love seafood!

Bibimbap, your korean experience will not be complete until you get to taste this one!

Tofu and Togue. So simple yet it still hits the spot!

Raspberry and Calamansi. Both very refreshing.

and to top it all off the grilling of Hamburgers and Yakiniku!

I know this may not be super sufficient but at least I get to let you guys see the food that we ate which was said to be enough to 2-3 persons but no, it was good for 4-5 persons. Their prices is just right with meals from 400-1000php since they are all for sharing.

Taste wise, it is by far close to authentic korean that will satisfy the Filipino palate.

In terms of the service, it's actually good with our waitress, Piella. Remember her name and ask the management to have her serve you, she will definitely entertain you with her bubbly personality.

My thanks to Angel for inviting me here.

TOMS Shoes: One Day Without Shoes

A week ago I was given the opportunity to do this activity of TOMS where people are encouraged to be in the shoes of those street children, in this case "no shoes at all".

I have always admired businesses that incorporate their objective of mere selling in giving a whole lot meaning to social awareness and charity.

Reunited and it feels so good!
With these two of the coolest bloggers:

Not really proud of my feet but hey, at least I get to have a glimpse of how our street children feel.

There were also free water-based tattoos that has empowering statements such as this one. Too bad there were no more left when I was about to get one for myself.

You may also write statements on your own...

... and have them displayed here!

The main event is that we have to go a bit around the mall to have more people be aware of the cause and the advocacy.

I am very impressed that a lot of people are very much willing to participate despite the heat of the ground and just the general summer heat that we get to experience.

No fret though, they have provided recyclable and mother earth friendly seats for us to sit on after the walk and to further enjoy the afternoon with some awesome music that their bands provided for us.

Tops to TOMS!
