To the batch of BSMT3A 2010-2011.
It has been a great school year, probably the best one for the college years. We have come a long way already, what we have started together may we end together as well.

From the land of the talented with wit; Leaders with compassion, may we continue to inspire many people and may we all be successful in life.

One more year to conquer.

School year 2010-2011 has been very fruitful therefore ending it up being a blessing for others would be appropriate, although helping out should always be unconditional so whether you find your year happy or not we should always openly give out our service.

Waking up early and spending time taking care of others are just minimal counts of sacrifice compare to what God has been providing us. What we did here is to provide the children dental and medical check-up (including perianal swab done by us), we gave out hygienic products and medicines that would nourish and maintain their health. I was really happy to see that a lot of students are interested to join this activity.

I salute CEU for catering charity events such as this one, through this I hope Escolarians or even youth in general would trully inculcate the value of generosity.

Empowering the youth is a great step towards a better future.

Unwinding at Banana Leaf

Aaron Ray Mopera, Cholo, Me, Lawryeng Castro and Jane Masiado

Green Tea Chicken Curry
(My Personal Favorite)

It was a saturday night, I was so tired because of studies and i just had to unwind so I waited for my friends to go back in Makati (They were at Araneta).

The best way to replenish yourself is to gain positive energy. I thank Banana Leaf for serving us a sumptuous dinner and of course meals are tastier when shared with the people you love. I find food or the intake of food in general very important because it actually evaluates how you value yourself, so with good food comes good character.

The night ended as we watched "Little Red Riding Hood".

Good Food + Good Movie + GREAT Friends =
A CERTIFIED UNWINDED WEEK.

Bring Rings

Photographed by: Vergil Lloyd U. Chua

I am a person who seldom wears accessories. Usually you can see me wearing clothes that somehow you can call "conventional". I am fond of wearing unusually cut, edged, tailored clothes. Well more on that when I am actually blogging about it.

Carlos Concepcion has trully revolutionized my view on fashion (well somehow). I get really inspired on his way of styling and so I opened his blog and found one of his posts about Rings, Ink and Skin and there I found Bin Ubaldo's Bring Rings.

I got fascinated how the rings looked so conventional (so me, lol), so I decided to look for it on facebook and luckily I get to find it in an instant and put a wall post, days later I purchased three rings which are seen in the pictures above. I just love the rings. Most of the rings are caterred for women but they are starting to cater for men as well. I am looking forward to see the next batch of rings. Oh and I want to thank Bin Ubaldo and Dea Ubaldo for being so accomodating. :)

Jay Michelle Pineda, Me, Hazel Espinosa (Party Director) and Jenyvee Idanan

White Printed Shirt and Cardigan (Oxygen), White Shorts (F&H), Red Belt (SM Dept.), Shoes (Swatch) and Watch (Rolex)

I am very proud of my High School Barkada (Peninsulares), we seemed to be very busy with our lives with our affiliations and endeavors, but before that let me list them for you guys.

Jay Michelle Pineda
From University of Santo Tomas
Business Administration Student
She is very active in her University Organization. If I am not mistaken she was awarded best actress in their recent mucical play. She is also an active member of YFC.

Maria Jeselle Timoner
From De LaSalle University - Dasmarinas
Tourism Student
Well known for her bubbly personality. She will be going to the States anytime now for her OJT.

Cyrille Base
From De LaSalle University - Dasmarinas
MassComm Student
An effective actress and active member of Teatro in LaSalle. She has performed tons of plays in LaSalle and I think she has gained scholarship because of it.

Jenyvee Idanan
From San Beda College, Aalabang
Tourism Student
She will be going to another country anytime soon but I forgot what country. She is academically intelligent.

Valerie Mae Vallar
From MAPUA
ECE Student
Well... she has to be busy, it's MAPUA. :)

Patrick Sampayan
From University of Santo Tomas
Architecture Student
One of the brightest students in our batch in High School. Judging from the plates he had done I know he is destined to be someone in the industry.

Robert Allen Supnet
From Philippine Women's University
HRM Student
He is very talented in dancing. A very comedic person. He is very active in his School, nominated as one of its model students, He is part of their Student Council.

Jayson Tabunan
From University of Santo Tomas
Tourism Student
Currently in South Korea. He is very talented in Dancing. He is also an active member of YFC, as a matter of fact he is one of the Heads.

Hazel Espinosa
From Letran
Accountancy Student
She was the President of our Student Council in High School. She is part of their Student Council in her University and she has a lot of other affiliations. She is the director of this party.

The theme of this Party is a Pre-Summer Party which was well justified with all the fire-dancing, clothing of the people, Pool and Jacuzzi (yes, you can swim in this club). We were suppose to be many but then Jessa and Cyrille didn't get to make "habol" I don't know why, Patrick as usual is busy and parties is not much of his thing, Valerie has to study lol and Jayson is still in South Korea.

I love the ambience of the place, well suited for a summer party plus food is for free (I think it's because we're under VIP, thanks Hazel!). By the way, the party is meant for college students all over the metro and there were students from CEU Makati that night, as a matter of fact one of the hosts is from CEU Makati (Maikee) and I get to meet Trixie and her friends as well, also from CEU Makati. Since we have students there who knows me I decided to have myself on a lower profile but nevertheless, it was a great party.

Congratulations to Hazel Espinosa!

The hardest thing that we can write about is always about ourselves,
we want things to be described accurately written with a sense of respect and a touch of greatness
but we don't want to sound bias for our readers, we would always want to be judged in the manner of fairness and just.
Now, let me put down the basics of my profile.

I am born in UST Manila on February 10, 1991 but I am raised in Cavite.
I am the fourth among the 5 children of:
Virgilio M. Chua
Violeta U. Chua

and my siblings are:
Vida Dionne U. Chua
Vincent Oliver U. Chua
Verdan Joseph U. Chua
Vermont Edward U. Chua
(arranged by age)

Educational Background:
I studied the first two years of my education at
Divine Light Academy, Molino
Then for my Preparatory and where I graduate High School
Woodridge College, Molino
and now I am studying at
Centro Escolar University Makati
taking up the course
Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology

I have always been fascinated with life because from the way I see it, Life is Beauty.
I wanted to be in the medical field not only because all my brothers and sister are taking up medical courses but because of the thinking that there are so many pains in this world, I just want to be part of the healing process.
But actually to sum it up, I want to do and be a lot and so, I am still undecided on what definite career I want to do/be.

I am a very active student.
Member of different Organizations in the University:
Dramatic Guild
Honor's Society
Red Cross Youth Council
COMPASS
I have tried acting, singing, dancing probably I have showcased talents that I "might" have on stage.
I am part of the 1st batch of Student Council in my High school.
I have been the P.R.O. of the University Student Council - Makati for two School Years
(under the administration of Aaron Ray E. Mopera
and Mark Angelo Q. Potente).
One of the greatest achievements I have as of the moment is that I am the 1st International Delegate of our University gone to
South Korea.
With talent, I get to sing at the World Trade Center.

Who/What inspires you?
In respect to the question who, generally I find inspiration with every person I meet because I learn lessons from them which I come to confirm that God wouldn't let you meet people for nothing, there is always a reason and it is up to us to find out what the reason is.
But the people who inspires me the most:
Family
Friends
especially:
Peninsulares
F&F
High School Mentors
College Mentors
especially:
Dr. Maria Corazon L. Andoy
Mrs. Juana Rossa F. Martinez

and above all
God

Now for the question what,
I love beautiful things and that includes:
fashion
gadgets
music
beautiful places
it's just ART in general.

Oh and I just have to say that I am very much inspired by these people:
Carlos Concepcion
Mike Concepcion
and the rest of the gang.

To describe myself further I asked some of my closest friends to have a few descriptions.

Intelligent, competent and hardworking: a friend that never fails to enjoy life thru his positive outlook in life and by sharing his laughter with his friends. Supportive yet cautious and the best part of him is his big heart.
-Lawryeng Castro

Malambing, caring and an intellectual person.
-Sthepanie V. Pasamba

Thoughtful, very stylish.
-Khrislyn Marie "Kriya" A. Luy

Someone you can depend on... Someone that cheers you up, gives you strength, and makes you feel special. He's not just a friend to me but also a bestfriend and a brother. He is a man full of knowledge, perseverance, and determination.
An almost perfect man.
-Jane B. Masiado

Super lambing, caring and lovable.
-Ana "Happie" Santos

A man with firm principle. Verge is someone who knows himself well and yet accepts constructive criticisms from other people. His sweet and friendly approach turns a tiger into a cuddly cat. He is noted to be diligent, practical and God-fearing.
-Maria Elizabeth "Marielle" V F. Cueto

A person with a strong personality, smart. A good leader. A very friendly person (everyone knows that) and a person who likes trying out new things that keeps him growing.
-Loraine G. Samsin

Driven, ambitious: wants a little bit of everything, responsible, may be amateur and innocent in some aspects of life but is very much dedicated to learn, knows how to pick his friends, watches his own back, thoughtful, may not always be there when needed but once he is he'll give everything he can to give you comfort, very good supporter. Patient in dealing with people he loves, but impatient with those who don't deserve it, independent, only seeks the help of others when very much needed, sweet... :)
-Jay Michelle E. Pineda

Loves challenges but isn't afraid of defeat. Doesn't settle for less. Knows when to fight back and when not to. Gives respect to people who deserves his respect.
-Valerie Mae V. Vallar

He was a happy baby, easy to handle. His grades were consistently high and would always aim to be among those on the top. He has interests in areas of Mathematics, Languages and Sciences. He would also vie for extracurricular activities, like singing, theatre arts and painting. As parents, we are very lucky to have Vergil as one of our children and we are proud of him for being an achiever in his own right.
-Violeta U. Chua (My MOM)

The purpose of this blog is mainly for Inspiration.
Every now and then I come across things that would inspire me and it would be a shame if I don't get to share it because it might inspire other people as well.
I live up with the saying that.
"Our generation is capable of doing great things and so I come to a purpose of inspiration, with motivation comes a better evolution."

I will also be featuring some of my friends who I find inspiring.

and so I encourage everybody to do their best, keep yourself positive and be a beacon of light for others.
